So sorry for the delay in posts - technical difficulties including not enough hours in the day have made updates challenging.
Lynda should be home in US now with lots of bling.... silver and bronze medals. We all feel like we should know the words to OH Canada by heart now if that tells you anything about all the medal ceremonies.
Sterling, Tommy, Juli, Louise and I arrived safely in Paris today. Long travel day - trying to get our bearings in the city. Hope to have some more photos from the festival posted in the morning.

Heading out for Saturday races shortly. Today is the 500m Mixed races today. Weather is a bit cooler so hopefully we won't roast to death in the sun as we are expecting more of a crowd today.
Most of us took yesterday off and did some touring around Prague. Louise and Juli actually climped up the steps to the top of the Petrin Tower which overlooks the city. Both of them have a fear of heights - so this was a big feat!
Some work out if you can call it that in the hotel gym this morning followed by a sauna. Pictures to follow....
We'll send updates on the race results from today when we get back.

Day One - 2000m races... 2 boats swamped during the race. First - the US senior mens that Golden was paddling in and then the Canadian Mens team that our friend Anthony was on.
Day Two - Long day at the Races - but our girl already has some bling. Bronze in Womens Senior 1000m and Silver in Mixed Senior 1000m.
Day ended with a fabulous party at The Caesar Palace Hotel in Prague to celebrat Tom and Ingrid McDonal's 54th wedding anniversary. The paddlers got here for the end of the party. Fun was had by all with singing led by Dell Kendal - a medley of show tunes. The Boa's were an added touch although I am not sure the hotel will be able to ever clean up all the feathers.
More soon....

We arrived today in Prague, CR. When we safely arrived at the hotel the first person we saw was Ingrid McDonald - Lynda's Mom.
It has been a long day since we traveled all night, but we are having a cocktail at our hotel before heading off to have dinner near the Astranomical Clock and then catch a concert somewhere near there.
Wed morning we will be heading off to the race site in Racice(?) to watch our US team including Lynda McDonald compete!
More updates with some pictures soon!
